Sick Of Bullying? So Are These Hoboken Students [VIDEO]

Watch these New Jersey students remind the world that working together is a beautiful thing.

HOBOKEN, NJ — If you’re sick of the bullying and threatening talk leading up to the 2016 Presidential Election, a group of Hoboken students has a message… you’re not alone.

With the help of their music teacher, Aram Rubenstein-Gillis, students at Elysian Charter School in Hoboken released a video earlier this week that is a “call to action for people of all ages to take a stand against bullying.”

The video, titled “All In,” celebrates the beauty of diversity, the power of perseverance, and the importance of working together, a news release stated.

“All In” is being released as part of National Bullying Prevention Month, organizers said.

"My goal is to help my students experience what it is like to spread a message of compassion, unity and understanding so that they will live these values for the rest of lives," Rubenstein-Gillis said. "When I see how well my students play together, learn together and sing together, I know that we can build a future that nurtures compassion rather than indifference, and that develops empathy and intelligence as an antidote to fear and ignorance."

Anti-bullying non-profit The Bully Project, creative agency Moore + Associates and Mixcord Inc., the tech company behind the Acapella, assisted with the production of the video.

"Political campaigns tend to elicit strong emotional responses, but this year has been exceptionally mean-spirited and divisive," said Mik Moore, founder of Moore + Associates. "We believe ‘All In’ provides a powerful, even uplifting counterpoint to the hate-speech, vulgarities, and bullying that have characterized the 2016 election."
