Snow, Sleet and Freezing Rain: Hazardous Weather Expected in Hoboken from Tuesday Afternoon to Wednesday Morning
Winter weather advisory issued for Essex and Hudson Counties: See Your Local Hour by Hour Forecast

After a three to four inch snowfall on Sunday, residents in Essex and Hudson County may be hit with even more winter weather from Tuesday afternoon to Wednesday morning, including snow, sleet and freezing rain.
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter weather advisory for several counties across the state, including Essex and Hudson. The advisory will remain in effect from 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, to 2 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4.
Snow accumulation of one to three inches along with “less than a tenth of an inch of ice” is expected, as well as temperatures that may reach “the lower 30s.”

According to the NWS, potential impacts from the weather may include snow-covered surfaces that are coated with ice, which will make “travel difficult at times.”
“Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities,” the NWS warned. “And use caution while driving.”

Wednesday: Rain, mainly before 9am. High near 44. Wind chill values between 30 and 40. West wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
