Speak out at a meeting Tuesday about a park proposed for Hoboken's central waterfront.

HOBOKEN, NJ — What should go on Hoboken's proposed park on the central waterfront?
The city of Hoboken reached a compromise in February with NY Waterway that will allow the city build a park on the central waterfront, which was, until recently, owned by the commuter ferry company.
Mayor Ravi Bhalla has encouraged residents to attend the first community meeting for the concept design of Maritime Park, on Tuesday, April 4, at 6:30 p.m. at the cafeteria of Hoboken High School, 800 Clinton St.

At the meeting, the project team, including Dattner Architects, SCAPE, Kimley Horn, Indigo River, and city officials, will present the project and solicit community input for potential features and amenities of the future park.
Suggestions will be utilized to create multiple design options for the waterfront open space, the city said.

Additional digital surveys, stakeholder outreach, and public meetings will be held.
