Hoboken Street Reopened But May Close Later Due To 'Manhole Issue'
One block of Hoboken near the city's northern border has reopened following a "manhole issue" that will be fixed tonight.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Hoboken has reopened part of 15th Street, near the city's northern entrance, after it had closed around 3 p.m. due to a "manhole issue," the city said.
An hour later, the street reopened, but parts of 15th Street may close later when crews fix the issue, the city said.
The city said, in a Nixle alert just before 4 p.m., "PSEG crews will be on site to make repairs between 7 p.m. and 12 a.m. Partial road or full lane closures are possible in that time frame. Officers will be on scene to direct traffic if necessary."

Earlier, they had said:
"No injuries or outages are reported but police advise that 15th Street will be closed between Park Avenue and Bloomfield Street until further notice," the city said. "Police officers will be on site with the Hoboken Office of Emergency management to help direct traffic around detours."

In response to a Tweet from the city's Office of Emergency Management, a commenter said around 3:23: "The power went out on 14th and there were multiple ambulances driving away with sirens…."
