HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — A Cambridge, Mass. teen was arrested on sexual assault charges this week after he assaulted a 14-year-old girl in a North Bergen motel after meeting her on social media, according to prosecutors.

Wolide Yessuf, 18, of Cambridge was arrested and charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, and endangering the welfare of a child on Monday.

The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said in a release that Yessuf had met the victim on social media in March. The two of them, along with another "female juvenile," traveled from Massachusetts to a North Bergen motel room, the HCPO said. There, the Prosecutor's Office alleges, Yessuf "provided the victim with drugs and alcohol before sexually assaulting her."
