HOBOKEN, NJ — Pizza purists who retch at the idea of putting pineapple on a pie may want to look away from this new offering, but daring gourmands might give it a try.

The Madison Pizza Lab in Hoboken, a new restaurant in Hoboken that offers unique styles of pizza — including a Jersey Corn Pie — debuted its Thanksgiving Pizza on Thursday, Nov. 10.

As you'd expect, it's topped with turkey, stuffing, candied yams, cranberry, spiced pecans, and of course, fresh mozzarella. It's drizzled with gravy.

"That looks and sounds amazing!" gushed a fan on Facebook this week. "I have to try it."

The pie is available from now until Dec. 1, said owner David Carney, who also manages the Madison Bar and Grill in the mile-square city, across the river from pizza-rich Manhattan.

The pizza is $5.50 a slice and $40 for a whole square pie that feeds up to six, Carney said.

Madison Pizza Lab opened its doors in September. It's located at 152 Newark St., a six-block walk from the Hoboken train station. Find out more about it here.
