'Full Steam Ahead'
A spokesman said on Tuesday that the newest Fulop — due in November — won't change the mayor's plan to run for higher office in two years.
"He's 100 percent full steam ahead," said Phil Swibinsky on Tuesday.
Fulop was elected mayor in November 2013 and is now halfway through his third term.
During Fulop's term, Jersey City has undergone what a spokesperson called an "unprecedented renaissance," with many restaurants, tech firms, and other businesses choosing to launch their New Jersey location on the city's waterfront or in interior neighborhoods like Journal Square.
