Three Flood Advisories Issued For Hudson County For Next 2 Days
Believe it or not, up to 3 inches of rain are predicted for Thursday night into Friday in Hudson County.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — You may be tired of hearing it, but the National Weather Service has issued coastal flood advisories for three different periods through Saturday, as up to 3 inches of rain are predicted to fall in Hudson County from Thursday night through Friday.
That would be more than what fell in the area last weekend.

The watches cover 6-10 p.m. on Thursday, 7-11 a.m. Friday and 7 p.m. to midnight Friday.

For Saturday during the day, the forecast for Hudson County says:
"Rain and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. High near 65. Northeast wind 13 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible."
Tropical Storm Rina To Form
Meanwhile, a tropical disturbance has been lurking in the Atlantic, behind Tropical Storm Philippe. The National Hurricane Center predicts it could become Tropical Storm Rina next week.
