HOBOKEN, NJ — Besides sheltering 50 people each night, the Hoboken homeless shelter provides other essential services to the community, including 1,000 showers weekly for those who need them, and hot meals.

Now, the shelter has planned a 40th Anniversary Gala Wednesday, June 15 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Spirit Cruises. The boat will leave from Lincoln Harbor in Weehawken.

The event has a dress code, and the deadline to purchase tickets for the gala is the end of this month.
