Truck Hits Pole In Hoboken, Knocks Out Power: Officials
Parts of Hoboken were temporarily left without power after a truck hit a utility pole, authorities said.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Parts of Hoboken were temporarily left without power on Wednesday after a truck hit a utility pole on Willow Avenue, authorities said.
City of Hoboken officials issued the following advisory at 8:04 a.m.:
“Due to an incident on Willow Ave involving a truck hitting a pole, power is out in certain areas of Hoboken. The Office of Emergency Management is on scene. Willow Avenue between Newark Street and 1st Street is closed to traffic. A cooling center is open at the Multi-Service Center (124 Grand) for residents without power.”
Hoboken officials reported that power was restored a short time later. Willow Avenue between 1st and Newark remained closed to traffic for the morning rush hour.
