Two Arrested In Connection With Package Theft Attempts In Hoboken

HOBOKEN, NJ — Two men were arrested last week in relation to package thefts or attempts in Hoboken.

Last Wednesday, Dec. 21, Angelo Gomez, 56, of Jersey City was arrested and charged with theft. He also had an open warrant from Jersey City, police said. They said he was arrested for stealing a package from the 1200 block of Bloomfield Street on Dec. 17.

He was taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

The same day, police arrested Jarell Lee, 31, of Hoboken and charged him with robbery and burglary, police said. They said he was "caught inside a FedEx truck trying to steal packages" near the 1300 block of Clinton Street. He was taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
