Two Queens Men Arrested On Docked 'Majesty' Boat In Hoboken

Police found broken glass and broken ATMs on the party boat "Cornucopia Majesty."

HOBOKEN, NJ — Hoboken police arrested two men from Queens, N.Y. on Wednesday night on a cornucopia of charges after receiving a tip that two people were on board the large "Cornucopia Majesty" party boat docked on the north waterfront.

Police say Christian Singh, 24, of Richmond Hill, N.Y., and Dwayne Persaud, 27, also f Richmond Hill, were arrested after police responded at 8:29 p.m.

The men were charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, criminal mischief, two counts of criminal attempt theft, theft, tampering with evidence, possession of burglary tools, possession of CDS marijuana, drug paraphernalia, police said.

Police said that Wednesday night, Special Officers Kyle Seper and Chris Soto received information that two males were aboard the Cornucopia Majesty. The boat is docked alongside the 14th Street Pier.

Officers Lt. Keith Rotondi, Tyrone Huggins, and Bianca Arroyo responded.

While inside the ship, they observed broken glass bottles, broken cabinets, two ATM machines damaged, and the ship's security cameras damaged, police say.

Police located and arrested the two men. During the search incident to arrest, the two were also charged with possession of marijuana, police said.

The men were released pending a court date. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.
