Unidentified Man Found Dead On Hudson County Waterfront; Prosecutors Investigating
The Hudson County Prosecutor's office homicide unit is investigating after a man was found dead on the Newark Bay shoreline, officials said.
HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — The discovery of a man's lifeless body on the Newark Bay shoreline in Bayonne has spurred an investigation from the county homicide unit, according to prosecutors.
The unidentified man was discovered by Bayonne emergency responders behind the Thomas W. Zito Bayside Apartments near Avenue A and West 23rd Street on Friday, officials said.
The man was pronounced dead about 3 p.m. Friday and the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office had yet to release the cause of death at time of publication.
