HOBOKEN, NJ — After PATH stations in Hoboken and Jersey City were closed over two weekends in January, commuters have wondered each weekend whether the stations will be open. However, most weekends, it's only the World Trade Center PATH that is supposed to be closed for Superstorm Sandy repairs. Updates on weekend closures can be found here, and current alerts can be found here.

Thursday morning, some Hoboken and Jersey City PATH trains were delayed due to a switch failure between Hoboken and Newport Station in Jersey City. The problem was resolved around 7:45 a.m., according to an alert.

As for the coming weekend, according to the PATH weekend closure website, the World Trade Center PATH station will be closed again. There were no mentions of the other stations as of Thursday.

"During this time, PATH service to World Trade Center will terminate at Exchange Place Station.
