Three students won the Provident Bank's poster contest, in which they were asked, "What's your favorite thing about Hoboken?"

HOBOKEN, NJ — During the past school year, Hoboken students were encouraged to take the caps off their markers and put on their thinking caps when The Provident Bank asked them, "What's your favorite thing about Hoboken?"

The bank, located near the Hoboken train terminal, conducted a poster contest with that theme, offering a $25 prize to one student in each of three age categories.

A total of 217 kids in grades K-5 responded.
