Woman Sues Over Alleged Stabbing By Hoboken Coworker: Report

The woman worked at a home store in Hoboken in 2017 and was subjected to propositions from a coworker that ended in violence, the suit says.

HOBOKEN, NJ — A New Jersey woman filed a lawsuit against the parent company of the West Elm home store chain on Friday because she was stabbed 15 times outside her home in 2018, allegedly by one of her coworkers at the Hoboken store, according to NorthJersey.com.

According to the story, the suit states that the man kept asking her out, then sent her long messages over social media, one about jealousy. The suit says the store did not take action to protect her after she forwarded the messages to supervisors. After the stabbing outside her Rutherford home, she required emergency surgery, and is still suffering today, the suit says. Read more in NorthJersey.com here.
