180 Turning Lives Around to host Yoga for Survivors
Trauma-sensitive workshop open to survivors 18 and up who have experienced domestic or sexual violence, past or present.

Together with Elevate Yoga & Wellness, 180 Turning Lives Around is hosting a yoga workshop entitled, "Mind/Body Strategies for Self Care." This free workshop will be led by Janet Lee, LCSW, a Coordinator at 180 Turning Lives and Jamie Hanley, LPC ERYT 500, of Elevate Yoga and Wellness and promises useful strategies to reduce stress during the busy holiday season.
The workshop will take approximately 90 minutes and will teach participants relaxation techniques and ways to gain healthy coping skills. The workshop provides a gentle and restorative yoga practice to quiet the nervous system using guided imagery and breathing practices. This trauma-sensitive workshop is open to anyone age 18 and up who has experienced domestic or sexual violence, past or present. 180 and Elevate Yoga hope for participants to leave feeling renewed with a self-care plan to use during the holidays and beyond.
Offered in Hazlet: Friday, December 14th, 6:00 p.m. — 7:30 p.m. interested participants should call Janet to register and receive more information: 732-264-4360 x4281
