$4,500 in Credit Card Fraud at Hazlet Home Depot, Police Say

A Brooklyn man and woman charged $4,500 to a stolen credit card there last week, police said.

Hazlet, NJ - A Brooklyn couple has been charged with knowingly using a stolen or counterfeit credit card to make $4,500 worth of purchases at the Hazlet Home Depot, according to a criminal complaint from the Monmouth County prosecutor's office.

The couple was arrested last Wednesday, Aug. 3, at the Hazlet store after police said they tried to charge $4,500 worth of goods to the card, knowing it was stolen or fraudulent. Kelly Douglas, 30, and Junior Felix, 33, both of East New York, were taken to the Monmouth County jail. She was held on a $37,500 bail, paid in full, and he was held on a $12,500 bail, paid in full.
