4 Indicted for Heroin Possession near Hazlet CVS
They were stopped in their car on Palmer Avenue near the CVS in November, Hazlet police said.

HAZLET TOWNSHIP, NJ - Four people were indicted this week for an incident of heroin possession that occurred back in November in Hazlet.
The four are all local to Monmouth County: Eric Burke, 32, of Keyport, Felicia Foster, 23, of Manalapan, Robert Horton, 27, of Keansburg and Michael Lee, 26, of Union Beach were all indicted for heroin possession in Hazlet on Nov. 10, 2016.
Hazlet police stopped them in their car on Palmer Avenue that day, in the area of the CVS at the intersection of Highway 36, Deputy Chief Ted Wittke told Patch. There was an odor of marijuana coming from the car and the vehicle was searched; Burke was found with 67 wax folds of heroin in his possession, Wittke said. Lee was found with seven wax folds of heroin and a hypodermic needle in his back pocket. Burke and Horton had multiple outstanding traffic warrants. The woman, Foster, was driving the car.
