• Cruel Hand's Ryan Goff is currently playing drums for Rob Zombie on current tour (lambgoat.com subscription) — Holmdel is set to host Rob Zombie's Freaks On Parade tour at PNC Bank Arts Center on August 26, with Cruel Hand's Ryan Goff filling in on drums. The show also features Marilyn Manson, The HU, and Orgy, giving local metal and hard rock fans a big multi-band bill close to home.
   

• Shore Conference Football 2026 Preseason Top 12 Rankings (shoresportsinsider.com) — Holmdel's football team opens the 2026 season ranked No. 6 in the Shore Conference after last year's historic first sectional title. Despite graduating star quarterback Jack Cannon, the Hornets return key playmakers like Anthony Serini, Michael Todisco, and Matt Scheinman, but must break in a new sophomore quarterback and rebuild much of the offensive line against a tough schedule.
