Antonio Spalliero, 68, of Holmdel passed away at JFK Hospital after suffering from kidney and congestive heart failure. Spalliero had been battling health problems.
Spalliero was a well-known developer in Marlboro who gained media attention in 2007 after pleading guilty in federal court to bribery charges. Due to his failing health he was sentenced to one year home confinement instead of prison.
