Assemblyman Gerry Scharfenberger Endorses Rocco Impreveduto

I am truly honored to have received such an amazing endorsement from our popular Republican Assemblyman Gerry Scharfenberger. Assemblyman Scharfenberger is an outstanding leader for us in Trenton. He and I are both on Column 3 - the endorsed Republican line - this June 8th. The full text of his endorsement is below.

Dear Neighbor,

It is with pleasure and confidence that I offer this letter of support for Rocco Impreveduto as candidate for the Holmdel Township Committee.

Rocco is a son of Holmdel with deep roots in the community. His record of service is impressive - having served on numerous diverse volunteer bodies. Rocco’s service on the Holmdel Recreation Board is a natural fit for the parent of three active children. Holmdel’s recreational facilities – from walking trails to athletic fields - are an important part of the township landscape of which residents rightfully expect and demand vigorous oversight. His position on the Monmouth County Bayshore Outfall Authority is critical to ensuring a safe and clean environment in the region. He also served on the Holmdel Planning Board, which gives him in-depth knowledge of the development needs of Holmdel and how to rein in overdevelopment and fight such detrimental initiatives as COAH housing.

Rocco and I have also discussed the importance of providing services to our senior citizens. When I was mayor of Middletown we implemented new services and opportunities to their benefit. Likewise, Rocco’s vision to provide seniors with free transport to and from local medical appointments is a significant step in the right direction for Holmdel.

Most importantly, Rocco is committed to raising his family in the same bucolic setting that has attracted families to Holmdel for more than 150 year and, under his leadership, will continue for generations to come.
