“Everyday my staff and I work to help get thousands of our constituents their unemployment, the nightmare these people are living is unimaginable,” said DiMaso in a statement. “Those that need financial help now, we connect with non-profits that are ready and willing to help. Our dear friend Kim Guadagno ensures they get food and other necessities from Fulfill and if no one can help them we help them ourselves, whatever it takes.”
DiMaso has voiced her support to work alongside Sen. Declan O’Scanlon and Assemblyman Gerry Scharfenberger in 2021. Former Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno has announced her support for Assemblywoman DiMaso:
“Serena is a leader with a proven record of serving all the people of District 13. She knows how Trenton works and is always there for us,” Guadagno said. “As a resident of Monmouth Beach, Serena represents me and my family. I will proudly vote for a strong voice for our families and businesses and that means I will vote to return Assemblywoman DiMaso to Trenton.”
DiMaso got her start in New Jersey politics by first being elected to the Holmdel Township Committee in 2006. She served as the mayor of Holmdel Township from 2006 to 2010 and as the deputy mayor of Holmdel Township from 2011 to 2012. From there she was elected as a Monmouth County Freeholder. Her legislative offices are based out of Bell Works in Holmdel.
