Unlocked Audi Stolen From Holmdel Driveway Monday Night
This comes after two unlocked cars were stolen from a driveway off Seven Oaks Circle in Holmdel on Sept. 14.

HOLMDEL, NJ — An unlocked 2017 Audi was stolen from a Holmdel driveway this week, police report. Holmdel police announced the incident Thursday; the theft occurred sometime overnight Monday, Sept. 25.
At 8:30 Tuesday morning, Holmdel police were called to the area of Fox Hunt Road for a report of a stolen motor vehicle. It was determined that during the overnight hours an unknown suspect stole a 2017 Audi from a resident’s driveway. The resident told officers that the vehicle was left open and the key FOB was inside of the vehicle.
This comes the same week Middletown police warned residents that the Middletown/Holmdel area has seen an increase in high-end car thefts. On Thursday, Sept. 14, two unlocked cars were reported stolen from a driveway off Seven Oaks Circle in Holmdel. Polices said both vehicles appeared to have been unlocked with the keys inside.

Holmdel police are once again asking all of residents to secure their vehicles and not leave keys or key FOBs in their vehicles.
