Three Cars Stolen From Holmdel Residence Recovered By Police

Holmdel police recovered three cars stolen from a home on Riverside Lane, where suspects entered the home and took keys to steal the cars.

HOLMDEL, NJ — At about 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, police said four people wearing masks and gloves entered an unlocked residence on Riverside Lane, removed three sets of car keys and stole the vehicles from the driveway.

All three vehicles were, however, recovered and processed by police later in the morning on Thursday, police said.

Police said the vehicles were recovered using the in-car GPS. Once police found the location, they contacted the jurisdiction the car was in and officials there secured them.

There have been several incidents recently in the township where attempts have been made to steal cars or there have been reports of unknown cars in neighborhoods.

Police ask that residents continue to report seeing any suspicious vehicles and ask that residents remember to lock their cars and homes.
