CBA Juniors Receive 'Epitome of the Academy' Distinction, Including Holmdel Teens

Honored students are nominated by the faculty and demonstrate a good academic record, contribute to the community, and exemplify CBA ideals.

Christian Brothers Academy (CBA) congratulates 23 members of the Class of 2016 who were recently named as “Epitome of the Academy” selections.

To receive “Epitome of the Academy” distinction, a student must be nominated by the faculty and meet criteria in three major areas: he must demonstrate a good academic record, he must be a contributing member to the CBA community, and he must exemplify the ideals of Christian Brothers Academy.

Each student awarded this honor receives a special tie whose design incorporates the CBA motto — Religio / Mores / Cultura — and the star of faith, a centuries-old Lasallian symbol used at all Brothers’ schools as a reminder of St. John Baptist de La Salle’s teaching to “see everything through the eyes of faith.”
