Dance House holds it's 4th Annual Recital

Holmdel’s Dance House has its 4th Annual recital at Brookdale College

 On a sunny afternoon on June 9th, 2013 Susie Stewart’s Dance House held its 4th Annual dance recital at Brookdale Community College.  The Dance House’s youngest performers opened the show with a number from “Beauty and the Beast”.  The three year old class of Ava Fanzini, Julia Hammer, Emilia Hernando, Molly Joyce, Grace Smith, Madison Fletcher, Hannah Steinfeld and Margot Messihi, were soon joined by their fathers in a sentimental father/daughter dance.  Needless to say, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.  The show continued with performances ranging from “Wake me up", "Shake up the Party”, and even featured a boy’s hip hop medley from Psy, LMFAO and Nelly.  There were solo performances by Aly Stewart, Lexi Stewart and Camryn Guerin and duets and trio’s performed by Olivia Blasiak, Sophia Cahalane, Sarah Coleman, Jessica D’Agostino, Kiera Joyce, Hayden Kemmerer, Belen Luccarelli, Maya Rubano, Carrie Tempone, Lexi Stewart and Sophie Vallone.  The show’s grand finale was a group number to “All Around The World”. 

 Stewart was so impressed with the way all the dancers performed – “they should all be very proud of themselves. The girls danced like professionals and they looked beautiful up on that stage. Our boys lit up the stage in their group number as well."  What started as a hobby has now grown into something much bigger so this year she plans on making it an official business and is moving to a new location at the Beacon Hill Plaza in Morganville. “Everyone is thrilled and excited about the new things The Dance House will now be able to offer”, Stewart explained, “including a competitive dance team, musical theatre classes, and coming soon boys WWE wrestling classes and Ariel silks classes.”
