Donald Trump Holmdel Event Moved to Edison Saturday
A Hindu event Saturday with Donald Trump as its keynote speaker was scheduled to be at the PNC Bank Arts Center, but will now be in Edison.

Edison, NJ - A Republican Hindu event this Saturday that will feature Donald Trump as its keynote speaker was scheduled to take place at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, but has now been moved to Edison.
The event, called Humanity United Against Terror, has been moved to Edison because the temperature forecast for this weekend is going to be in the 40s, and the PNC Bank Arts Center is a mostly outdoor space, organizers told Patch. The event is organized by the Republican Hindu Coalition and will take place Saturday, Oct. 15 at its new location, the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center. Organizers say they are expecting upwards of 10,000 people there, but the Expo Center can fit 15,000. Bollywood stars and singers will be performing.
Tickets range from $9.99 for limited early-bird seats up to $499 for what organizers are calling "VVIP" tickets. It begins at 5 p.m. and Trump will take the stage at 9 p.m. Trump is not being paid to speak and all proceeds will go to victims of Islamic terror. A Chicago businessman, Shalabh Kumar, founded the Republican Hindu Coalition in 2015 and Newt Gingrich serves as its honorary chairman. Kumar told another media outlet 50% of the proceeds will go to Kashmiri Pandits, a group of Hindu Indians that live on the Pakistan border and have been victims of terrorism and ethnic cleansing.
