Drivers Stuck on Rt. 36 in Hazlet, Police Say
There was an accident on Scott Drive early Saturday.

Halzet, NJ - Many are reporting white-out blizzard conditions in Monmouth County, with high winds shaking homes and visibility at near-zero.
Hazlet police report numerous drivers got stuck on Highway 36 overnight and this morning. One vehicle also slid off the road into the woods on Scott Drive, police said. There were no injuries.
There is 7 inches on the ground in Monmouth Beach as of 6:10 a.m., police there report, with higher accumulations in some areas due to drifts. Freehold had 6.5 inches of snow on the ground at 4 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. The worst part of the storm is not expected until this afternoon.
