The Ninth Annual Bayonet Farm Arts and Music Festival is scheduled for Sept. 23, noon to 5 p.m. at Bayonet Farm Park.
The event promises to be an afternoon brimming with cultural enrichment. The fine arts, live bands, international dance, crafts – plus plenty of activities designedto keep the little ones happy.
The events will be held in the Pennsylvania Dutch-style barns on the farm, which was once a gentlewoman's estate.
Of special interest is the elegant Harding House; guided tours are given on its architecture and the history of its philanthropic owner.
Witness en plein air (outdoor) artists from across the nation at a “Paint Out,” capturing the glorious vistas and classic structures of this most bucolic setting.
Another highlight will be a juried art exhibit of more than 50 paintings, sculptures, and photographs. Cash prizes are awarded to the art exhibit winners and the en plein air painters at the Festival’s conclusion.
Admission costs $5, children under 12 are admitted free. Parking is free.
Among the way, the ticket price is kept low is through personal and corporate sponsorships. Donations of any size are welcome. Recognition of your generosity will be published in the Festival Brochure and website. Additional advertising and recognition are offered with increased sponsorship. Sponsor levels: Event Sponsor ($2000+), Benefactor ($1000+), Patron ($500+), Contributor ($250), Supporter ($100+), and Friend ($25).

A sizable donation is a way for corporations to help the arts while gaining publicity and admiration from the Holmdel area audience. Alternatively, financing an Artist Award can honor someone or promote a business, as well.
