Who is eligible? Holmdel high school seniors planning a career in all areas of health care including: medicine, nursing, dentistry, chiropractic and physical therapy. Employees or family members of employees of Newman Springs Dental Care are not eligible for the scholarship.
What is the Scholarship amount? A one-time $500.00 award.
What organization is offering this scholarship and why? Newman Springs Dental Care is a dental practice in Lincroft, dedicated to providing general, cosmetic and sedation dentistry to its patients.

How do I apply for the Scholarship? The applicant must submit a 500 - 1000 word essay to include the following:
--Applicant’s name, address, phone and email.

--General information (i.e. hobbies, interests, abilities, etc.)
--What field of healthcare you chose and why.
--What dreams/goals you have for your healthcare career.
--Describe any community service you have been involved with.
Only one essay per applicant will be accepted.

How many scholarships are available? 1 Scholarship will be available to graduating seniors from Holmdel High School.
When will the winning applicants be notified? Winning applicants will be notified no later than May 1, 2012. Award certificates will be presented at a special ceremony at the dental office and at your school’s senior awards ceremony. Award checks will be mailed directly to the institution of higher education upon verification of enrollment.
