The Hazlet side of the bridge will be used to store construction equipment and materials, police said. Area residents may experience brief interruptions with public utilities as the project progresses, “but they should not last long,” the Hazlet Township Police Department said in a statement.

According to police, the roadway will completely shut down to all traffic.
