"Discarding of personal documents properly protects residents from identity theft," says Freeholder Director Arnone. Find the schedule here:

HOLMDEL, NJ - Five paper shredding events are left in 2020, according to the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders.

Between August and December 2020, the county has scheduled 11 upcoming paper shredding events in local municipalities to give residents opportunities to dispose of old files and confidential documents safely.

“Identity theft is a malicious use of someone else’s identity,” said Freeholder Director Thomas A. Arnone, liaison to the Monmouth County Recycling Division. “Discarding of personal documents properly protects residents from identity theft, but also helps reduce your impact on the environment.”
