The Township previously engaged Arcari and Iovino Architects and CME Associates to assist Holmdel Fire Company #2 and township officials in designing the new facility. Fire Station #2 currently serves as Holmdel’s main firehouse, located at 13 Centerville Road. The new firehouse location will be near the first aid squad and municipal complex on Crawfords Corner Road near the Garden State Parkway.
Advocates of the new firehouse argue that responders will be able to access emergencies more rapidly on both sides of town.
