Radha Singh, 27, of Hazlet, was arrested last month and charged with sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

She is accused of sexually assaulting the teen on multiple occasions between May and July 7, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Singh appeared in state Superior Court in Paterson Monday, where she entered the not guilty plea, according to northjersey.com.

Her attorney, Frank J. Sciro, told the newspaper his client planned to fight the charges, and he said the 17-year-old boy had “a tremendous amount of baggage.”

Singh is free on bail, northjersey.com reported.

The investigation was handled by the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Paterson Police Department.
