Holmdel Cancels All After-School Activities Due to Nor'easter
Holmdel public schools are preemptively canceling all afternoon activities due to the storm.

HOLMDEL, NJ - With 50-60 mph wind gusts Monday afternoon and some towns already reporting flooding, Holmdel public schools are preemptively canceling all afternoon activities, superintendent Robert McGarrity announced Monday morning.
Weather conditions are supposed to deteriorate over the course of the day Monday, and into the evening, and the following cancellations are in effect:
Village and Indian Hill School: All after-school and evening activities are cancelled. The daily Prime Time program will remain open, but the district is asking parents to make efforts to pick up children as soon as possible after regular dismissal. "Camps" scheduled for today (Thread Heads, Coding and Soccer) are cancelled.
W.R. Satz and Holmdel High School: Buildings will close at the departure of the late buses at 4:15. All activities scheduled after that are cancelled.

"Please be careful out there today!," said McGarrity.
The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for Central New Jersey starting Monday, January 23 from 3:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Winds are expected to gust as high as 55 mph with the strongest winds expected to occur during the day on Monday. Periods of heavy rain and possible flooding are also expected.
