Holmdel Committee Agenda: Swim Club Improvements, iPad Retention

HOLMDEL, NJ - The five-member Holmdel Township Committee is set to discuss the following at its next meeting on April 27, according to municipal documents.

Here are the highlights on the agenda:

• A resolution approving a shared services agreement (use of the MOD IV Property Assessment Computer System) with Monmouth County
• A resolution authorizing the township consulting engineer to provide professional services (including a facility assessment and “other visible site improvements”) at the Holmdel Swim Club for a total of $20,800.
• A resolution authorizing the Holmdel Township Police Department’s retention of an iPad found in an impounded motor vehicle in 2019. “In lieu of disposing the Apple iPad and conducting an auction, the Holmdel Township Police Department wishes to retain device for its operational use,” the resolution reads.
• A resolution appointing two public safety telecommunicators to the Holmdel Township Police Department
• A resolution in support of the Holmdel Green Team to apply for a grant from Sustainable Jersey. “Holmdel Township strives to save tax dollars, assure clean land, air and water, and improve working and living environments as steps to building a sustainable community that will thrive well into the new century,” the resolution reads.

There will also be a public hearing on the following ordinances:

• An ordinance establishing standards regarding of small cell wireless facilities in public rights-of-way to expand 4G services in Holmdel
• An ordinance to recognize and protect critical current and future environmental sites
• An ordinance establishing pay-to-play restrictions for prospective developers of affordable housing
