Holmdel Grads Make Dean's Lists
The following Holmdel students were singled out for their stellar performance in the Fall 2011 semester.

Kerry Egan has been named to the fall 2011 Dean's List at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Egan is a doctor of pharmacy student, and earned the distinction for staying above a 3.4 academic average out of a 4.0
Stacey E. Peros, a junior at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Va., was named to the university's Dean's for earning above 3.5 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale.

Two Holmdel students earned the Dean’s List distinction at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. Seth Michael Einbinder earned a 3.5 or above at the university's College of Arts & Sciences. Yuwen Memon, at the university's School of Engineering and Applied Science, qualified by scoring above a 3.6.
Emily Thacher, a member of the class of 2015, has been named to the fall 2011 Dean's List at Loyola University Maryland. A student must have a GPA of at least 3.5.

Daniel Murray, a member of the class of 2013 at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Va, has earned dean's list status for the recently ended fall term. Students there must earn at least a 3.4 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Three Holmdel students at Rider University in Lawrenceville announced that three Holmdel undergrads made Dean’s List at different colleges. James Frees, a freshman Business Administration major; Kathryn Guiry, a sophomore Psychology major; and Andrew Ming, a senior Management and Leadership major
At Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY, Melissa Menges, a member of the Class of 2014, was named to the Dean’s List. She is majoring in Psychology, Special Education. Also named was Alexandra McCahill, a member of the Class of 2015.
Julianne Cort, daughter of Scott and Susan Cort of Holmdel, a junior Film, Photo Video & Visual Arts major, was named to the Dean's List at Ithaca College's Roy H. Park School of Communications in Ithaca, NY.
Kelsey Falcone and Joanna Parlamis have been named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2011 Semester at Fairleigh Dickinson University's College at Florham, located in Madison, N.J. To qualify for the Dean's List, a student must carry a 3.2 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0.
Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA announced that Matthew Fernicola has earned placement on the Dean's List for the fall semester of the 2011 academic year. To be eligible for this honor, a full-time student must achieve a grade point average of 3.4 or above.
Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia said the following students made Dean’s List: Emily Baisley, majoring in Elem/Special Education; Megan Connelly, majoring in Food Marketing; Joseph Panepinto, majoring in Finance; Amanda Yurkowski, majoring in Accounting. Students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or above, a B or greater in all their classes.
Lisa Polera, a Nursing, BSN to MSN (Generic) student was named to the Fall 2011 semester Dean's List of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadlephia. She achieved a minimum grade point average of at least 3.5 for the term.
Caldwell College of New Jersey named Jennifer Wiedemann to the Dean's list by maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
Madeline Ching a member of the class of 2015, was named to Tufts University's Dean's List for the Fall 2011 semester. Dean's List honors at Tufts University in Medford, MA require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.

Stonehill College of Easton, MA recently named Lisa D. Krastins, a member of the class of 2012, to its Dean's List. She qualified with a grade point average of 3.50 or better.
Christopher Casola has been honored for academic achievement by being named to the fall 2011 Dean's List. Delaware Valley College is a four-year institution of higher education located in Doylestown, Pa.
Alexandra Palazzo made the Dean’s List at Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, NC.
The University of Scranton has announced it's Dean's List, and three Holmdel students made it. The following earned a grade point average of 3.5 or better: Shannon Connelly, a junior early and primary teacher education major in Scranton's Panuska College of Professional Studies; Safia Abulaila, a senior counseling and human services major in Scranton's Panuska College of Professional Studies; and Michelle Parlamis, a sophomore occupational therapy major in Scranton's Panuska College of Professional Studies.
Several local students have been named to the University of Delaware's Dean's List for Fall 2011.
Those students include David Blaha, a Junior Business and Economics major; Kelsey Currie-Naffin, a Senior Arts and Sciences major; Stephanie De Sousa, a Sophomore Health Sciences major; Kristin Gagliardi, a Senior Arts and Sciences major; Leann Garofolo, a Sophomore Business and Economics major; Kristen Goers, a Freshman Arts and Sciences major; Monika Marciszewski, a Freshman Engineering major; Nicole Messina, a Junior Business and Economics major; Christopher Monfasani, a Senior Business and Economics major; Kelly Pizzo, a Junior Arts and Sciences major; Nicole Sepulveres, a Senior Arts and Sciences major; Taylor Soave, a Freshman Arts and Sciences major; Anthony Solfaro, a Senior Business and Economics major; Katelyn Swift, a Sophomore Business and Economics major; Allison Tracy, a Freshman University Studies major.
Thomas Buscema and Christopher Lo Verde, students at Quinnipiac University in Amden, CT , were named to the Dean’s List. To be eligible for dean's list status, a student must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5.
Paul Sepulveres, University of Maryland, College Park Freshman Engineering major, made the Dean's List.
At Ramapo College of New Jersey, two members of the same family made Dean's List. Maria Colella, a junior majoring in psychology, and Thomas Colella, a freshman majoring in history and education. They are the children of Frank and Joanne Colella.
Daniela Blazer made the Dean's List at University of North Carolina-Charlotte. She is majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in English.
At Monmouth University, the following students made Dean's List: Maria Chiappetti-Lojo, Christine Fiorelli, Sloane Ginsburg, Aida Joffe, Steven Kipnis, Heather Muh, Jessica O'Dwyer, Lei Pan, Amanda Westerweller and Marissa Peloro, a junior majoring in Health Studies and Psychology.
Cornell University College of Arts and Sciences' Dean's List includes Erin Goers, Michael Graw, Nelson LaMarche, and David Sun.
Marissa Koven, daughter of Dr. Marshall Koven and Randi Koven, was named to the Dean's List of Emory College, where students must earn approximately a 3.81 grade point average or higher to qualify.
