Holmdel High School seniors who are planning a healthcare career can apply for a $500 scholarship from a local dental office.
Newman Springs Dental Care is offering the scholarship for a Holmdel High School senior planning a career in fields including medicine, nursing, dentistry, chiropractic, and physical therapy, according to a news release from the dental office.

The dental practice is in the Lincroft section of Middletown, but the owner, Dr. Mitchel Friedman, is offering the scholarship to Holmdel students because his three children attended school in that district.
Scholarship applications are available at the high school guidance office or via email: scholarship@DrFriedman.biz.

Applications are due by by April 16 and the winner will be notified by May 1.
An award check will be mailed directly to the institution of higher education upon verification of enrollment.
