Here's why I'm supporting CathyWeber and Prakash Santhana for election to the Township Committee.

I don't need to always agree with local officials, but I do expect them to demonstrate integrity, support transparency, encouragecommunity involvement, and act in the best interests of Holmdel.
I've known Cathy for nearly 25 years and Prakash for nearly 20. They consistently demonstrate the qualities I value. It's the rare candidate who demonstrates those qualities, and is smart, creative, passionate and, yes, nice.
Both Cathy and Prakash have taken the time to talk with me about: how to ensure that residents feel theirconcerns matter; what innovative means can lessen reliance on local taxes; and how to safeguard the bucolic nature of our community.
Many of you know Cathy as a "go-to"person who gets things done. Fewer know Prakash, who I worked with for nearly a decade. Prakash not only shares my values, but he earned an MBA from Wharton; is a managing director of one of theforemost consulting companies; and is a recognized expert onblockchain, fintechs, analytics, cybersecurity, and financialservices. He's the real deal.
Let's not screw this one up.
If you believe in the importance of integrity and transparency (think consent agenda, Bell Works, turf field), and if you want officials who encourage resident feedback and input (remember resident advisory committees?), the choice this year is really easy.
Vote for Cathy and Prakash. Let's have a fresh start.
Michael Timko.
