Holmdel Motorcycle Crash Thursday

A man was seriously injured after he was ejected from his motorcycle at 9:30 a.m. Thursday on Middle Road near Allocco Park.

HOLMDEL, NJ — A man was ejected from his motorcycle Thursday morning on Middle Road after he collided with a Mazda sedan, Holmdel police said.

The accident happened at 9:25 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 31 on Middle Road near Allocco Park, police said. The motorcycle driver sustained serious injuries to his head, arms and legs. The driver of the black Mazda sedan suffered a minor injury and refused medical attention.

The motorcycle operator was given treatment on the scene by the Holmdel First Aid Squad and MONOC paramedics and transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center. Middle Road was closed to traffic for approximately two hours Thursday morning, with assistance from the Hazlet and Middletown police.
