Holmdel Police “Goal: Zero” Campaign To Take Place On Highway 34

The county-wide enforcement detail is scheduled to be present from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., according to officials.

HOLMDEL, NJ — Holmdel Police will be hosting a “Goal: Zero” high-visibility campaign on Thursday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Highway 34.

According to Holmdel Police, the intent of this campaign is “to confront the staggering rise in traffic deaths NJ has seen.” As of today, NJ is up to 344 deaths in 2024, and 29 of these deaths have occurred in Monmouth County, officials said.

This number is a 16.2% increase over the same time frame last year, according to police, and demonstrates the need not only for this detail, but future details as well.
