Holmdel Police Seek Car That Hit Bicyclist, Fled
This happened at 5:30 Friday evening, March 6 at Highway 35 and Laurel Avenue. The cyclist was in a marked crosswalk, and was injured.
HOLMDEL, NJ — Holmdel police are looking for the person that hit a bicyclist Friday evening at the intersection of Rt. 35 and Laurel Avenue, injuring them, and then fled the scene.
The incident happened at 5:35 p.m. this past Friday, March 6, say Holmdel police.
Police were called to the intersection of Highway 35 and Laurel Ave. for a report of a bicyclist struck by a car. The bicyclist suffered a leg injury and was transported to Bayshore Medical Center.

Police say the person on the bike was attempting to cross Highway 35 in a marked crosswalk when the car made an improper right turn onto Highway 35 and struck them.
