Holmdel Road Closures Planned This Week

A portion of Holmdel Road in Holmdel is expected to be closed this week for roadwork.

The Monmouth County Highway Division plans to do milling and paving work on the road on or about Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m., a notice on the township’s website said.

Holmdel Road will be closed between Main Street (Route 520) and Bethany Road.

“Arrangements should be made to move or park your vehicle(s) on a side road that will let you out, and away from the road construction, without delays if possible,’’ police said on their website. “Local traffic, businesses, emergency vehicles, school busses, and Post Office vehicles will be permitted through the work zone at any time.”
