HOLMDEL, NJ – The popular Bell Works farmers’ market on Crawfords Corner Road has some new competition coming its way: the year-round Bayshore Farmers’ Market will open its doors on Saturday, Aug. 15, featuring a string of local vendors.
The market, sponsored by Hackensack Meridian Health, will be located at Bayshore Medical Center on North Beers Street in Holmdel, operating every week from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Expect meats, seafood and cheeses sourced directly from New Jersey farmers, as well as vegan desserts, herbs and in-season spices.
“Buying fresh, locally grown foods is a great start to healthy eating. Hackensack Meridian Health is teaming up with local farmers markets throughout New Jersey to help shoppers learn more about the food they’re buying and how to prepare it,” the market touts on its website.
