Holmdel Saladworks Wins Best Franchise in Facebook Vote
To celebrate, $5 entrees offered to customers all day.
In a recent "Franchise Showdown" poll on Facebook, the Holmdel Saladworks restaurant won with 881 votes. And the restaurant is celebrating.
Manager Cheryl Salstead was beaming with pride behind the counter Tuesday, at the 68-seat restaurant. She said the vote was a reflection on how the business is run. "Our number one priority is customer service, and restaurant cleanlinesss," she said. "Oh, and fresh produce too."
She said that the June 15 celebration for winning the contest will include balloons, visits from corporate officers and a busier than usual workday because the restaurant will offer $5.00 entrees all day. Most salads sell for around $8.00.
