BSA Troop 131 honors 2023 Eagle Scouts

Holmdel BSA Troop 131 proudly announces our newest Eagle Scouts Zander Fahs, Maxwell Matheusch, and Andrew Chen. These exceptional individuals have demonstrated exceptional leadership, dedication, and service to their community through their remarkable Eagle Scout projects.
Zander Fahs spearheaded the design and construction of a large dog structure at the Alex Ching memorial Dog park at Bayonet Farm Understanding the importance of creating a safe and enjoyable environment for canine companions, Fahs dedicated hours to this project, collaborating with volunteers, local businesses, and the community to bring his vision to life. The impressive structure will undoubtedly enhance the experiences of dog owners and their furry friends for years to come.
Maxwell Matheusch took on the challenge of organizing a food drive for the Fulfill Food Bank during the challenging times of the Covid-19 pandemic. Recognizing the increased demand for assistance in the community, Matheusch worked tirelessly to rally support and collected over 2500 pounds of food for local families in need. His dedication to serving others have made a significant impact on multiple families lives, particularly during these trying times.
Andrew Chen, focused his Eagle project on the design and construction of a small dog structure within the Bayonet Farm Dog Park. By providing a safe and comfortable space for small dogs to play and socialize, Chen has contributed to the overall enhancement of the park's amenities. Through meticulous planning, coordination, and hard work, he has left a lasting legacy that will positively impact the canine community in Holmdel.
These remarkable young men have not only demonstrated exceptional leadership skills but have also exemplified the core values of the Boy Scouts of America. Their dedication to community service, personal growth, and the betterment of their surroundings is a true testament to their character and commitment to making a positive impact.
