Holmdel's Bayshore Medical Center To Expand ER
Bayshore will be expanding the physical size of its emergency room, as well as building additional parking spaces.

HOLMDEL, NJ — Earlier this year, Bayshore Medical Center submitted a request before the Holmdel planning board to expand its emergency department.
Bayshore seeks to expand the physical size of its emergency room by 32,000 square feet, so it will be a significant expansion, as well as build additional parking spaces. There were also undefined "enhanced associated improvements."
The Holmdel planning board will most likely grant Bayshore a variance relief for the construction.

A timeline for when work will begin is not available yet, because Bayshore is still waiting for approvals from the state for the expansion.
The project has received approval from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs and is in the final stages of approval with the Holmdel Township Committee, Planning Board and the New Jersey Department of Health.
