Important Information For Hazlet Middle School Parents

Do you have a Hazlet middle-schooler?

Here is some important information from Hazlet Middle School Principal Christine McCoid:

• Throughout the school year, school officials will communicate electronically with parents, so parents’ contact information must be up to date on the Realtime Parent Portal.
• Children cannot carry their backpacks during the school day. They must be placed in a locker.
• Cell phones cannot be used in school hallways. Teachers will determine if cell phones can be used for academic purposes in the classrooms. Free school wi-fi is available for that academic use.
• School schedules are now available for viewing on the Realtime Parent Portal.
• Seventh-grade orientation will be held on Sept. 2 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Buses will be in operation on Orientation Day.
• Sept. 3 is the first day of school for all students.
• Summer reading assignments are due on Sept. 8.
