Keansburg Police Save 74-Year-Old Woman's Life
Using CPR, Keansburg police saved a 74-year-old woman's life last Wednesday in town.

KEANSBURG, NJ - Using CPR, Keansburg police saved a 74-year-old woman's life last Wednesday in town.
Last Wednesday, March 1, Patrolman Michael Thompson and Patrolman Nicholas Angerami responded to a home in Keansburg for a 74-year-old woman experiencing difficulty breathing and chest pain. Upon arrival, the woman told officers she was feeling faint and within seconds became unconscious and unresponsive.
Thompson noticed she was not breathing and could not detect a pulse. He and Angerami moved her to the ground and, along with Det. Joseph Jankowski, began life-saving measures. After several minutes, officers detected a pulse and she began to breathe on her own.
